(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = LG Uplus' PQC-supporting SDN interface and ‘SOLMAE’ electronic signature method, developed in preparation for the quantum computing era, have been established as TTA standards.

The PQC-Supported SDN Interface Standard is an interoperability specification between quantum-resistant cryptographic equipment(QENC) and SDN. It is the first standardization of PQC equipment and SDN integration in Korea.

It supports real-time status monitoring, certificate management, and policy settings based on a REST API. It is also configured to integrate with various systems using web standards.

SOLMAE digital signatures are based on the NTRU lattice. Designed to meet NIST security standards, they provide integrity, authentication, and non-repudiation.

It also considered application to IoT and embedded devices by minimizing signature size and ensuring efficient computation. It was co-developed with Professor Emeritus Kim Gwang-jo of KAIST.

LG Uplus will launch pilot projects with public institutions and the financial sector starting next year and expand into areas such as 6G mobile communications, autonomous driving, and smart factories.
