(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = Hanwha (000880) has been awarded the highest rating of Leadership A in the climate change response category by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).

The award is part of the 2024 CDP Climate Change Evaluation conducted by CDP Korea Committee, which recognizes top-performing companies across various industries for their climate-related initiatives. In April, Hanwha was also honored for the second consecutive year in the industrial sector at the 2024 CDP Korea Awards hosted by the same committee.

In its efforts toward carbon neutrality, Hanwha signed a 5MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) last year and continues to manage its eco-friendly policies and medium-to-long-term strategies through its ESG Committee under the Board of Directors.

A Hanwha representative stated, “This award serves as a key indicator of Hanwha’s achievements in sustainability and its commitment to carbon neutrality.”
