(Seoul=NSP News Agency) dILFUZA Sultanova Journalist = The Bank of Korea released its findings on major risk factors, the likelihood of occurrence and the degree of stability confidence in the financial system.
Among the main risk factors, more than 50% of respondents chose trade disputes between the United States and China and the continued slowdown in the growth domestic economy. Other responses to the global economic downturn, household debt problems and financial and economic instability in China were relatively high..
Trade disputes between the U.S. and China, a continuing slowdown in the domestic economy and a global slowdown are likely to become a reality in the short term (within one year). On the other hand, household debt problems and financial and economic instability in China are likely to be present in the medium term (1-3 years).
Compared with the first-half survey results announced in May, the U.S.-China trade dispute and the continued slowdown in the domestic economy are consistently seen as major risk factors. In this study, new risk factors such as global economic slowdown and financial and economic instability in China were added to the survey.
However, the ration of respondents to the"U.S.-China trade disputes"rose from 67% to 74%, while that of domestic economic slowdown fell from 66% to 52%.
