Samsung to install SUHD TVs at boarding gates

(Seoul=NSP News Agency) Jiye Kim Journalist = Samsung Electronics will replace its 243 LCD televisions at two airports and 24 KTX stations with the company’s latest Samsung Ultra High Definition televisions, or SUHD TVs for short. Starting earlier this month at Incheon International Airport, the renovation plan will be in place at Gimpo international airport and 24 different KTX stations nationwide.

Samsung has already been introducing 81 SUHD TVs at Incheon International Airport since earlier this month, presenting high definition videos thorough High Dynamic Range and Nano Crystal technology for passengers in the airport.

SUHD TV, the maker’s strategic, highest-end television of 2015, built on the technology of High Dynamic Range or HDR which designed to enhance contrast and backlight of screens. In addition to the HDR, Samsung also applies Nano Crystal Technology to the TV, promising more realistic and true-to-life colors than ever.

The tech giant’s TV installation scheme will take place from two major airports in Incheon and Gimpo, followed by 24 KTX stations including Seoul and Yongsan.
