(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = Sampyo Industries is introducing artificial intelligence(AI)-based process automation to maximize production speed and efficiency.

Sampyo Industries signed a business agreement with KAIST’s Manufacturing Physical AI Research Lab for physical AI technology collaboration, securing unmanned capabilities for its mortar production plant.

This agreement was established to transform existing processes that relied on the experience of skilled workers into data-driven, automated systems.

The inherited physical AI is a technology that allows sensors to recognize the environment, analyze data in real time, and enable machines to make decisions and operate on their own.

Through this, Sampyo Industries has applied the latest automation solutions to the entire process, from raw material receipt to drying, packaging, and shipping, resolving bottlenecks in the production process and dramatically improving shipping speed.

A Sampyo Industries official said, “By securing this technology, we have improved the manufacturing site's operational efficiency and elevated production speed to a new level, which will accelerate our market competitiveness.” He added, “We plan to continue to advance our core technologies to achieve tangible results in enhancing productivity and strengthening safety.”
