(Seoul=NSP News Agency) hYUNJIN KIM Journalist = Samsung SDS acquired a 33.4 percent share of Emro, a Korean supplier relationship management company, and will join board meetings as the largest shareholder.

This strategic investment allowed Samsung SDS to have an integrated global SCM platform ability across the supply chain from planning and purchasing to execution.

Samsung already had supply chain planning solutions, Nexprime SCM, and supply chain logistics solution Cello, and now secured a supplier relationship management solution.

Recently, the leading Korean IT company heavily invested in the enterprise cloud market and constantly expanded its capabilities focusing on ▲Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP) for enterprise ▲all-in-one managed cloud service and ▲Samsung Enterprise SaaS for work innovation.

This acquisition left Samsung SDS to retain all types of supplier relationship management solutions to make its SaaS business more competitive. The company also expected expanding its global businesses will go up to speed based on the upgraded integrated supply chain capability.
