(서울=NSP통신) YEON SUN HAN Journal = KB Kookmin Bank and Hyundai Merchant Marine made the business agreement to build Digital Eco system on export and import business.
Through this agreement, the two companies agreed to cooperate with each other in constructing 'KB integrated logistics platform' that will digitize all the trade documents information among all the players participating in the import and export market and utilize it to streamline the complicated fund settlement business.
The KB integrated logistics platform is a part of the export and import eco system construction project that was launched in conjunction with electronic trade solution(KB One Trade) which was launched last year and it is a FinTech service that combines digitized various trade documents information to financial services when settling logistics(customs) costs among export and import companies, forwarders(customs representatives) and shipping companies.
Through this, Hyundai Merchant Bank automates the payment process, and the forwarder is relived from the duty to register the payment receipt after payment. As a result, import and export business is expected to be simplified.
KB Kookmin Bank plans to expand its service area to customs offices to complete the export and import eco system.
