G-STAR 2018 hit a record high this year with numerous visits

(서울=NSP통신) jeonghyun go Journal = G-STAR 2018, International Game Exhibition, has ended. The total number of participants and companies in the event hit a record ever compared to the one last year.

G-STAR 2018 started off on November 15th with 41,584 visitors and recorded 47,116 on Nov. 16th, 86,139 on Nov.17th and lastly 60,243 on Nov. 18th (as of 5 o'clock), which adds up to 235,082(Estimate). This figure increased by around 4.1 percent from the 225,683 visiting a year earlier.

The number of paid buyers to BTB, BEXCO's second exhibition hall, recorded 1,779 on the first day, 266 on the second day and 124 on the third day in a row, which adds up to 2,169 that increased by about 8.1% from the number of paid visitors last year.(2006 in 2017)

It was well appreciated as an global event, in which event Microsoft, Google Korea, Tencent and Epik Games took part in as well.

Meanwhile, G-STAR held ▲International Game Conference G-CON 2018 ▲Game investment market ▲Job fair for those interested in game companies, and G-CON 2018 drew attention by introducing new technology for AI(Artificial intelligence) and Blockchain.

At the investment market, a total of 66 companies attended including 35 companies that specialize in developing, 10 investment firms and 21 publishers. For two days, a total of 148 Investment consultation meetings (136 in 2017) were held.
