(Seoul=NSP News Agency) YEON SUN HAN Journalist = Korea Gas Corporation will expand subsidies for installing gas-cooling facilities to SMEs and small business owners.

According to the Korea Gas Corporation, it announced the project of KRW 7,049 million in 2018 to subsidize the gas-cooling system installation and to support subsidies up to 800RT per unit by adjusting the GHP score coefficient(COP) sections into three from four sections.

Support unit price is adjusted so that the subsidies to the low-efficiency equipment are reduced and the subsidies to the high-efficiency equipment are increased, and additional 5% of the gross granted amount will be paid if the"SME / Small Business Confirmation"is submitted.

But, the total amount of the payment including the additional payment should not exceed 100 million won and the subsidy application deadline is extended by 30 days from the previous 90 days to 120 days.
