(Seoul=NSP News Agency) Jiye Kim Journalist = Hyosung and its nine affiliates embark on a project that is expected to generate 4,500 new jobs until 2017, approximately 1,500 a year.

This decision came out after the companywide consideration on how Hyosung could contribute to the society where youth unemployment rate is growing. The group also anticipates this plan could nurture competent people for the Hyosung group’s bright future.

Sang-woon Lee, the vice-president of Hyosung highlighted, “As Hyosung has worked for the benefit of Korea’s economy through developing the technology of fiber chemistry and others, we would continue the efforts to advance the new material such as Polyketone and carbon fiber. We believe it’s the social responsibility of enterprise to enhance the industry’s capability and give an opportunity to the man of talent.”

Reflecting the social atmosphere which young entrepreneurs are budding, Hyosung will work on the job creation project for supporting nearly one thousand young businessmen mainly from vocational schools and the support center for carbon fiber business in its Jeonju plant.
