(서울=NSP통신) soon ki Lee Journali = Wemade Co., Ltd. won the arbitration of violation of the license contract and unpaid royalty filed against Hangzhou Jiuling Network Technology, Chinese game company, to the Korean Commercial Arbitration Agency(Lee Ho-won, Director of KCAB) on May 22, 2020.

Jiuling is a subsidiary of Kingnet(Shanghai Kaiying Network Technology). In November 2017, it signed an official license contract for ‘Legend of Mir 2’ with Wemade and did not pay down payment and royalties despite serving the movile HTML5 game ‘Yongsungjeonga’.

In response, Wemade filed an arbitration request against Jiuling in October 2018 to pay interest, including royalties under Mir's Legend 2 license contract. As a result, today's court accepted the opinion of Wemade and finally ruled that Jiuling should pay about 294.6billion won in compensation, including interest expenses due to Jiuling’s default.
